Merchandiser- Part Time

Position Summary

Stock Hispanic Brands products at customers' locations in assigned locations. This is a part‑time position with 20 hrs a week, Monday‑Friday 6am‑10am.

• Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed
• Protect and gain merchandise shelf space for Bar‑S products by stocking temporary bunkers and spaces for scheduled promotions; optimize brand presence in designated areas
• Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products
• Maintain excellent working relationship with customers
• Create weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish reading, writing & speaking

• Personal vehicle which meets company standards for licensing and insurance
• Food handler's permit
• Driver's License which meets company requirements
• MVR which meets Sigma driving standards with review by Talent & Culture

• 1 year of sales experience
• Food product and or consumer packaged goods sales experience

• Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
• Must demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Proven ability to motivate self and others
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently

• Able to stand for a full shift of 8 - 10 hours
• Can regularly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck
• Can repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds
