Public Right of Way Walking Technician

Quality Counts LLC seeks a Public Right of Way Walking Technician to support transportation and traffic engineering projects through accurate field data collection. In this role, you will walk assigned public rights-of-way, record pedestrian, traffic, and infrastructure conditions using mobile tools and GPS, and follow strict data quality and safety protocols. You'll collaborate with project teams and public-sector clients, helping inform transportation planning and infrastructure decisions while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Walk designated public rights-of-way to collect traffic, pedestrian, and infrastructure data
• Use mobile devices and GPS tools to accurately record field observations
• Follow standardized data collection protocols to ensure data quality and consistency
• Document field conditions, safety issues, and anomalies encountered on routes
• Collaborate with project managers and data analysts on schedules and data needs
• Comply with all field safety procedures and local regulations
• Support basic data review and upload after field shifts
• Represent Quality Counts professionally when interacting with the public and client representatives
