We are currently hiring a Painter with 2-3 years of experience. For a full-time permanent non-exempt position.

2-3 years of general painting practices, including operation of a conventional spray gun, airless sprayer, HVLP sprayer; experience with color matching; working knowledge of paint products and their application in painting. Worksite management and clean up. Knowledge of safety standards for painting, ladder usage, personal protective equipment, and mobile worksites.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe painter is responsible for all aspects of paint and coatings applications, maintenance, inspection, and/or repairing buildings and structures. Customer service and worksite management. Reliable transportation and a valid CA driver's license.
Arrive at the job in time to start work before 8:00 a.m. daily, unless otherwise specified by Crew Leader or Supervisor.
Set-Up Job Site Daily- Drop out areas to be painted - drop, tape, plastic.
- Set up ladders - remove from the truck and ask the Crew Leader where he wants them.
- Maintain overall Jobsite appearance cleaning as you ensure the job site is free of debris and safe to work in.
- Clean up unused paint, paint chips and dispose of them properly.
- Shake out drops in designated areas, clean up the site before lunch and at the end of the day.
- Keep truck stocked with essential materials and equipment.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing caulk, and priming as necessary to achieve an optimal finish.
Safety starts and ends with you; you are responsible for attending, participating in, and living by our safety philosophy.
Physical Requirements- Stand for long periods of time.
- Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Repeat the same movements.
- Bend or twist their body.
- Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles.
- Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
- Walk or run for long periods of time.
- Frequently lifting to 60lbs.
- Working on and off ladders up to 22ft high
- Full-time 40hrs per week
- Weekly payday
- Hourly Rate of $23 DOE
- 24 hours of paid Sick Leave
