Century Group has a client in the hospitality industry who is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the development and corporate accounting, working closely with the Senior Director of Accounting and with Project Managers. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Description:

Oversees cash flow for all development project sources.
Reconciles bank accounts on a monthly basis.
Reviews project invoices for appropriate coding and process for payment.
Prepares and enters project-related journal entries to accurately account for all project costs.
Manages the monthly draw process with project managers to prepare and review development funding draw requests.
Tracks assigned project budgets and work with project managers to identify and discuss any cost/budget issues.
Assist in preparing monthly cashflows to fund ongoing pursuit projects.
Help oversee the corporate credit card and travel platforms.
Assist in managing the accounting ERP and AP automation systems.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related studies and/or accounting and finance OR 4 years of real estate development accounting experience
2 years' experience in real estate development accounting
