JobOverview
The position is full‑time and seeks a seasoned Accounting Manager to assist the Controller in managing the timeliness and accuracy of monthly financial statement reporting, including monitoring property accountant daily activities, supporting month‑end corporate close, annual reporting, and leading accounting projects.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for day‑to‑day accounting, financial reporting, operational analysis and regulatory compliance (e.g., sales and property tax) for assigned stores, coordinating external audits, review, and financial statement preparation with footnotes.
- Ensure GAAP compliance for all stores, writing GAAP position memos and implementing new policies and procedures.
- Manage joint‑venture day‑to‑day accounting and finance, including financial reporting and analysis, issue resolution, waterfall calculations, distributions and capital calls.
- Lead and manage property and general accounts and train and develop staff.
- Perform a variety of duties as needed to support the business, safety and technical requirements of the company.
- Competitive salary of $87,000–$110,000 per year.

- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. Active CPA license preferred. - Experience:
8–10 years of progressive accounting experience. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to work both internally and externally.
- Exceptional organizational skills, multi‑tasking, and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Proven ability to contribute to the development of company objectives and achieve desired goals.
- Strong accountability, work ethic, enthusiasm for teamwork, and a self‑starter attitude.
- Willingness to learn in a dynamic environment, with intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and ambition.
- High‑level proficiency in MS Office Suite and comfort learning new accounting systems and computer applications.
