Senior Accountant

Billion dollar healthcare org targeting a Sr Acct to join the team!

90-110k + bonus

• Experience in payroll GL accounting and reimbursement administration (Concur, Emburse, etc.)
• Preparing and recording journal entries and account reconciliations, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations and OAR flux analysis
• Supporting month-end close, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and SOX-related control testing
• Developing and documenting policies and procedures, leading process improvement and automation initiatives
• Acting as a primary liaison between operations and finance on payroll, AP, contracting

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related
• Strong knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• 4+ years of professional experience in fast–paced environment
• An understanding of key financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to details, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Developed effective business and financial discernment
• Demonstrations strong work-ethic and high-level of accountability
• Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effective
• Ability to meet deadlines, effectively manage multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Demonstrate strong organization skills, initiative and the ability to be a self-start
• Ability to analyze high volume of transactions/data
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and deadlin
• Advanced Excel skills, Pivot Tables, Vlookup-Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
