The National On-Premise Distribution Manager’s primary responsibilities are to support the development and implementation of a national distribution strategy, oversee the creation and execution of effective sales tools, and design the necessary training and onboarding programs and resources for internal teams and distributor partner field teams.
All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with:DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT SALES TOOLS, TRAINING, PROCESSES, AND SOLUTIONS THAT DRIVE SALES GROWTH Consistently evaluate, develop, and improve distribution sales tools and training programs for RBNA and distribution partners. Work closely with the On-Premise Trade Marketing team to develop new sales and training tools for distribution partners. Mentor and train Red Bull field teams on distributor management, business mathematics, use of selling tools, on-premise strategies, performance, and related topics.
Collaborate with On-Premise Training and Development Managers to enhance training, onboarding, and curriculum for distribution partners and internal employees. Ensure that field teams receive sufficient training on all data and insights, enabling them to take ownership of and effectively manage their business. Work closely with logistics counterparts to increase efficiency in product ordering and inventory management. Support the external management and strategic direction of digital platforms that affect the DSD network.
DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ON PREMISE DISTRIBUTION STRATEGY
Support the development of annual business plans and all relevant supporting materials. Support the development of all route-to-market assessment tools and ensure their implementation within the business units. Develop the framework for distribution training and lead its delivery and implementation with top distribution partners. Work closely with all members of the field team (Directors and Managers) and the National Accounts team to assess progress and adjust the on-premise distribution strategy as needed.
Drive the integration and adoption of KPIs, expectations, and measures of success for the distribution strategy through the field teams and down to the distribution sales force. Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to provide updated reporting and tools for distribution partner management.
Communicates regularly and effectively with BU On-Premise distribution teams. Conducts market visits to ensure that annual plans for assigned areas are implemented according to strategy, and to gather insights that inform future business plans. Works closely with BUs to ensure the appropriate range of distribution tools and processes is in place to overcome challenges and drive growth. Collaborates with the BU On-Premise team to develop annual business plans.
Yourareas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- A minimum of five years’ experience working within or managing a DSD network.
- Knowledge of the OnP landscape, including both local and national accounts.
- A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects or programs.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent, manager, and coach.
- A strategic mindset with strong business acumen.
- Exceptional communication skills, including presentation and training abilities.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and technical capabilities, and to work with all resource groups (business users and IT) to communicate needs and concerns.
- Very strong skills in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage.
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 – $172,000 cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
