This is an on-site contract position for a Biological Sample Management Associate, located in Frederick, MD. The associate will be responsible for managing biological samples, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation, and supporting the project's operational needs. Daily tasks include processing, storing, and retrieving samples, maintaining data integrity, coordinating with the project team, and adhering to quality and compliance standards.

This position supports biospecimen management across multiple clinical trials, ensuring accurate tracking, processing, reconciliation, and shipment of samples for pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, safety, and biomarker analyses. The role partners closely with Clinical Operations, Data Management, and external laboratory vendors, and involves working within LIMS and central lab systems to manage sample inventory, generate reports, and place sample requests in compliance with study protocols and informed consent requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (preferred)
• 2–3 years of experience in biological sample management within clinical research
• Strong knowledge of sample collection, processing, and shipping requirements
• Experience with LIMS and central laboratory systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and Excel skills
