DFH Architects is an established design firm with a long history of successful projects in mixed-used, multifamily, commercial, office and adaptive reuse. Our current focus is on Density Bonus, 100% affordable housing projects & adaptive reuse conversions from office to residential with projects across Southern California including Los Angeles, Santa Monica, West Hollywood and San Diego. We are looking for a team leader to manage projects and work closely with the partners from concept through construction, who is self-motivated, a critical thinker, proactive, a strong team player, has excellent communication skills and work ethic, and will be part of our team for years to come.
DFH Architects has an immediate opening for a Senior Designer to work on projects from concept through construction and has the following:
- minimum 3 years professional architectural experience in multi-family residential
- professional degree in Architecture
- proficiency in Autodesk Revit required
- interested in opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm
- outstanding graphic and presentation skills
- excellent verbal and written skills
- a passion for architecture, in-depth knowledge of working drawings and construction practice
- a strong work ethic, team player, self-motivated, proactive
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required. No work visa sponsorship of any kind. No exceptions.
- Must be currently located in the greater Los Angeles area. No exceptions.
DFH Architects offers you:
- starting annual salary range of $80,000 - $90,000
- flexible schedule with reasonable hours with firm culture focused on work/personal life balance
- Thursday - Friday: remote optional
- annual performance base bonus

Even though we enjoy our location in sunny Santa Monica, we realize the daily commute can be a factor so we offer a certain level flexible schedules, are in close proximity to the Metro Expo line, bike share stations, and have reserved employee parking within walking distance.
