MTLA, Inc. is looking for a full-time, in-person self-motivated designer to join our team — someone with previous design work experience, who is detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, and able to participate in all aspects of the project - from concept through construction administration.
You might be the right fit if you can:
- Work both independently and collaboratively (bonus points for a good sense of humor).
- Juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat.
- Communicate clearly and professionally — with clients and colleagues
- Roll up your sleeves and dive in.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
- Previous relevant work experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and hand-sketching
- Ability to translate hand drawings into digital plans
- Strong technical skills in construction drawings (plans, details, and sections)
- Knowledge of native and climatically appropriate planting
- Solid understanding of construction materials and the technical side of design
- Excellent graphic and design abilities
- Strong writing and communication skills
