Job Description & How to Apply Below

As the Digital Products and Services Graduate, you will contribute to a global movement to find a cure for spinal cord injuries by helping design the digital experiences behind one of Red Bull’s most unique annual fundraising events, the Wings for Life World Run. You will support the evolution of the event’s digital portfolio‑working on websites, mobile apps, and services that connect and inspire a worldwide community of runners.

Reporting into the Principal Product Designer, you will collaborate with experienced designers, product managers, and engineers to help shape the mobile and web experiences—learning how ideas move from concept to launch. This role is designed to develop your skills in product design, collaboration, and problem‑solving while giving you hands‑on experience building and improving real‑world digital platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Support the end‑to‑end design process across product initiatives, from discovery through delivery
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to understand user needs, technical constraints, and project goals
  • Assist in designing features and improvements across native mobile (iOS & Android) and web platforms
  • Participate in design critiques, sprint reviews, and cross‑functional workshops to learn how products are built
  • Help coordinate with external agencies or vendors when needed, under guidance from senior designers
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI designs
  • Support the evolution of the design system by applying components, patterns, and brand guidelines consistently
  • Learn and apply platform‑specific UX/UI best practices across both mobile and web
  • Assist with preparing design assets, handing off work to developers, and reviewing the product after launch for quality
  • Support the creation of design materials, including slide decks, presentations, and other visual assets
  • Support user research efforts by helping review app feedback, usability findings, and data insights
  • Assist in translating research learnings into design improvements and ideas
  • Learn how research, experimentation, and analytics inform product decisions
  • Clearly communicate design ideas and rationale to teammates in a supportive, collaborative environment
  • Actively participate in design syncs and critiques
  • Embrace feedback and contribute to a culture of learning, iteration and continuous improvement
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Product Design, UX/UI, HCI, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field, completed before July 2026
  • Demonstrated interest in product design and digital experiences through coursework, projects, or self‑directed learning
  • A portfolio showcasing design thinking, problem‑solving, and visual craft (academic or personal projects welcome)
  • Familiarity with Figma (layouts, components, auto‑layout, prototyping) and exposure to other prototyping tools is preferred
  • Foundational understanding of UX/UI principles, mobile and responsive design
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to collaborate across disciplines
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and digital product trends
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
    German is a plus
  • Travel 0–10%
  • Permanent hire
  • Benefits eligibility
