Student Life Coordinator
The Student Life Coordinator supports the mission, values, and Christian identity of Pacifica Christian by cultivating a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered student culture. This position plans and coordinates programs, events, leadership opportunities, service activities, and student-engagement initiatives that promote spiritual growth, belonging, character, responsibility, and healthy relationships. The Student Life Coordinator serves as a consistent, positive presence in students' academic, extracurricular, and community life.
The role works collaboratively with administration, faculty, counseling, campus ministry, athletics, families, and community partners to ensure students are known, supported, and meaningfully involved.
- Build a positive, inclusive, safe, and respectful campus culture aligned with Christian values and school expectations.
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate student-life events such as orientation, assemblies, spirit weeks, homecoming, prom, student recognition, lunch activities, holiday events, and community-building programs.
- Support the development and operation of student clubs, interest groups, and extracurricular activities.
- Encourage student participation and identify students who may be isolated, disengaged, or in need of additional connection.
- Maintain a student-life calendar and coordinate logistics for events, including space reservations, setup, supplies, transportation, volunteers, vendors, permissions, supervision, and communication.
- Prepare event plans, risk-management documentation, parent communications, sign-up forms, rosters, and post-event evaluations as required.
- Coordinate with facilities, security, food service, technology, athletics, transportation, and communications staff for successful events.
- Assist with student travel documentation, permissions, chaperone assignments, and supervision for off-campus activities.
- Monitor assigned budgets, submit purchase requests, track expenses, and use resources responsibly.
- Act as the main bridge between Pacifica's campus and local organizations, non-profits, and businesses.
- Design structured programs that build student leadership skills and civic responsibility while addressing vital community and global needs.
- Valid Driver's License - must be over 21
