Location: Santa Monica, CA

• Articulate system and/or equipment designs, including layouts, technical specifications, and functional capabilities to internal customers and partner teams.
• Develop and deliver the next generation of sortation and distribution solutions.
• Play and implement facility network infrastructure, including new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives.
• Conduct the design, build, and continuous improvement of Amazon order fulfillment infrastructure.
• Work with engineers in the design, development, and delivery of physical distribution systems around the globe.
• Manage a technology or integration project, successfully delivering the solution to meet project goals within schedule, budget, safety, and quality targets.
• Work directly with external equipment vendors, customers, partners, internal customers, and stakeholders to provide technical expertise.
• Manage the overall schedule, proactively mitigate risks, and keep the scope of engineering deliverables under control.
• Act independently with internal and external teams to manage lifecycle of challenging projects, acting as owner in delivering on project objectives and targets.
• Actively participate in firm engineering reviews, making tangible impact on proposed solutions at system and component levels, overall systems architecture, and facility processes.
• Efficiently manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoice validation/approvals.
• Domestic travel up to 75% may be required.

A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration, Technology or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration, Technology or related discipline followed by 5 years of experience in the same capacity.

• 3 years of experience in CAD software including AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360.
• 3 years of experience in managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment or integrated systems.
• 3 years of experience in leading projects, programs or initiatives with continually increasing scope and impact.

The pay range for this position is $119,600 - $161,700 per year. Base pay may vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience. Sign‑on bonus and restricted stock units may be part of the compensation package, in addition to full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information follows California Equal Pay Act. Base pay is based on market location.
