We are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance and planning in a family office environment. This role will manage tax staff, review complex filings, and work closely with shareholders and leadership on tax matters while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and review work of tax staff
- Review federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and related entities
- Manage tax planning, compliance timelines, and quarterly estimates
- Prepare and review tax work papers and projections
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and respond to tax notices
- Support estate planning and special projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or MS in Tax preferred
- 7+ years of tax experience, ideally in a family office or similar environment
- Strong technical knowledge of partnership, individual, and trust taxation
- Experience with quarterly/annual projections, payroll tax, W-2 and 1099 filings
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook
