Senior Accounting Analyst

Large well established organization targeting an experienced Sr. Accounting Analyst to join the team!

Role is offered on a temp to hire basis

Pay Rate (Contract): $43.00 – $45.00 per hour (potential up to 110k + bonus upon conversion)

The Senior Accounting Analyst will play a key role in supporting the accounting team through financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, support business decisions, and drive efficiency across accounting processes.

• Prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support month-end close.
• Analyze financial results, including variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to support financial analysis and business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and other departments to ensure accurate expense coding and reconciliations.
• Support SOX compliance activities and assist with internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within accounting and finance.
• Assist with special projects, financial analysis, and operational reporting as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting or finance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Experience with ERP systems;
  Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
