OverviewThe Investment Banking Associate will be a key member of an experienced team of investment bankers focused on healthcare companies. The successful candidate will support senior bankers in executing M&A and financing transactions for clients across the life sciences tools and diagnostics vertical, offering direct CEO, CFO and Board‑level contact and significant responsibility and opportunity for advancement.
Responsibilities- Serve an integral team leader in client transactions, projects, or assignments as an Investment Banking Associate.
- Advise clients and manage internal investment banking team & product teams.
- Assist in preparation of presentations and marketing materials (e.g., CIM, management presentations) for current and prospective clients.
- Prepare valuation analyses and other financial modeling analysis of clients and targets.
- Review business plans, conduct research, and analyze financial statements.
- Review and manage the due diligence process, including virtual data room preparation and counter party Q&A.
- +3 years of investment banking experience, healthcare‑related transactions preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting.
- BS or BA in finance or a similar field of study with an exemplary academic record.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Highly motivated, energetic, personable, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, team‑oriented work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and other non‑discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
