KEB Hana LA Financial Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hana Bank in Seoul Korea. Hana Financial Group, the bank’s parent company, is one of the largest financial institutions in South Korea which owns several subsidiaries including Banks, Insurance, Credit Card Companies, Investment groups and others.
We, KEB Hana LA Financial Crop, are looking for a Compliance Officer who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Company’s overall compliance program and ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while effectively communicating with management and employees.
qualification- 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, compliance, audit, or related fields preferred
- Experience with BSA/AML, OFAC, KYC/CDD, and regulatory compliance preferred
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state banking/financial regulations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in both English and Korean
- Applicant must be eligible to work in U.S. (We MAY provide visa sponsorship, not guaranteed)
- Salary range : $80,000 - $100,000
- Manage and maintain the Company’s Compliance Management Program
- Monitor compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct compliance monitoring and periodic reviews of business activities and transactions
- Support and oversee BSA/AML, OFAC, KYC/CDD and transaction monitoring programs
- Review and update compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Coordinate responses to regulatory examinations, internal audits, and compliance reviews
- Prepare and maintain compliance reports and documentation for senior management and regulatory purposes
- Conduct compliance training and provide guidance to employees regarding applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the Company’s business operations
