Dietitian, Per Diem - Urology; Men's Clinic

Salary Range: $49.73 - $58.00/hourly

• Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, Clinical Director and Medical Director for the Men’s Clinic at UCLA Health, trouve the development and implementation of the nutritional component for Men’s Health.
• Develop a nutritional care plan for the patient throughout their Этот care journey in the center.
• Provide educational classes for patients, evaluate inpatient nutrition, be a resource for patients, and assist in facilitating support groups.
• Apply current research findings in clinical care and participate in applied research as appropriate.
• Interact with all health care team members.
• Work with clients on novel weight loss drugs like GLPs.
• Function as part of a weight loss task force with NP and LVN.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Bachelors in Arts or Science (preferred in Nutrition and Dietetics)
• Ability to provide dietary counseling according to protocol
• Working knowledge of good clinical practices
• Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to organize multiple projects for efficiency
• Analytical skills sufficient to work and solve problems with minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines
• Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines
• Ability to be flexible and prioritize constantly shifting workload
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively and diplomatically interact with others
• Strong written communication skills to compose correspondence
• Computer skills/ability including work processing, use of spreadsheets, e-mail and data entry into clinical trials and Network database (MAC, PC
