The AWS National Security (Nat Sec) team is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Account Executive to join our US Space Force (USSF) team.

Key job responsibilities
  • Understanding customer mission requirements
  • Identifying applicable AWS services and solutions, and developing account strategies that accelerate cloud adoption and mission outcomes
  • Engage at the executive level — from program managers to senior military leadership — to build long‑term relationships and drive revenue growth across your assigned territory

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with U.S. federal government or Department of Defense (DoD) customers
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to national security or intelligence community customers.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Space Force organizations (e.g., Space Systems Command, Space Delta units, USSPACECOM)
  • Experience engaging with senior military or civilian government leadership (O‑6/GS‑15 and above)
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, including FAR/DFARS, OTAs, and contract vehicles (e.g., JWCC, C2E)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
