Your responsibilities will include:

• owning the technical engagement around specific implementation projects
• providing best practices to customers, developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
• being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
• providing exceptional technical design and thought leadership to customers while working with a world‑class sales and business development team
• capturing and sharing best‑practices within the AWS Solution Architect community

• Helping customers design and create cloud computing architectures
• Loving what you do and taking pride in your value proposition to customers (Amazon Leadership Principles)
• Continuously improving technical skills and staying current with industry trends

• Technical presentation experience – whiteboard, small and large group presentations
• Experience designing, developing, deploying and/or migrating to cloud environments
• Operational experience in web site/services operations, management, and security
• Ability to travel 30% of the time

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure experience
• 4+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
