- Serve as a leader for the Solutions Architect team and a key member of the business development team.
- Hire, enable, and develop an industry‑leading team of solutions architects.
- Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud.
- Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform, in partnership with the sales team.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Contribute to AWS internal and customer‑facing publications such as white‑papers and blogs as a means of scaling your knowledge.
- Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.
- 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer‑facing resources or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
- 7+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study or 12+ years of related work experience.
- Familiarity with low‑latency, high‑throughput workloads.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- Experience in the Games Industry (supporting title development, release, or live ops) or experience designing or architecting design patterns, reliability and scaling of new and existing systems.
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience hiring, developing, and managing high‑performing technical teams.
