Overview
Title: Insights Analyst III
Industry: Gaming
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities- Partner with data engineering teams to develop, optimize, and maintain datasets supporting player engagement, game events, marketing performance, and product sales.
- Build and manage data pipelines that transform raw data into structured datasets for analysis and reporting.
- Analyze player behavior, engagement, retention, revenue, event participation, and customer segments to generate actionable business insights.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for game health, business performance, product launches, organized play, marketing, and sales.
- Present insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, including 2+ years supporting online games or trading card games.
- Proficiency with SQL, Databricks, Tableau, and ETL/data pipeline development.
- Experience analyzing player engagement, retention, revenue, lifecycle, funnel, and behavioral data.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and hypothesis-driven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets in a fast-paced environment.
