Description
Amazon Advertising is looking for a high-caliber and tested design leader to create innovative experiences that streamline enterprise workflows, internally and externally, globally and this role, you’ll lead (and grow) a high-performing team of UX professionals—working collaboratively with user research, engineering, and product management through all aspects of the product development life-cycle.
This work has strategic significance and high leadership exposure. You'll have the opportunity to build new advertising solutions starting with product definition. Most importantly, you will have direct insights from customers, and impact the customer experience of advertisers, agencies and brand-owners globally.
Amazon is investing heavily in building a world-class advertising business and we’re responsible for defining and delivering a collection of self-service advertising products that drive discovery and sales. We deliver billions of ad impressions and millions of clicks daily, and we’re breaking fresh ground to create world-class products. Because successful advertising starts with a great customer experience, our team works backwards from the shopper to meet the needs of our advertising customers.
If you’re interested in joining a rapidly growing team working to build a unique, truly innovative advertising group with a relentless focus on the customer, you’ve come to the right place.
Our ideal candidate is a pragmatic manager who can operate both tactically with high attention to details, as well as think big visualizing an experience in the abstract and then driving that vision into solid design deliverables (e.g. UI, IA, prototypes) with their team.

- Translate business needs into customer-focused retail and enterprise solutions.
- Responsibly and effectively advocate for customers; imparting day-to-day strategic design leadership that fosters a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design, content, business and technology needs.
- Grow and mentor design talent.
- Partner with user researchers and product managers to appropriately assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features (using, usability findings, customer feedback, site metrics, etc.)
You will be leading a UX team that is focused on designing end-to-end experiences for advertising customers. Your peers will be other UX managers who are all addressing facets of the advertiser workflow.
