Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly

Summary

The Call Center Representative is responsible for providing phone coverage and generating interest in our treatment program offerings, answering pre‑admissions questions, conducting over‑the‑phone screenings, scheduling intakes, and assisting clients with insurance benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Generate interest in treatment program offerings.
  • Advise callers on the treatment process and help move potential clients past barriers to treatment.
  • Document all client information and communication in Salesforce.
  • Maintain knowledge of treatment center service offerings and current census.
  • Perform timely follow‑ups with qualified clients to ensure admission.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude with all callers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to potential clients and their families.
  • Prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Verify insurance and communicate results to potential clients.
  • Discuss payment options with clients and/or families.
  • Refer callers to appropriate facilities outside of the network when necessary.
Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive participant care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, one‑on‑one meetings with supervisors, and other required meetings.
  • Participate in in‑service training.
  • Remain receptive to constructive feedback and utilize support from supervisors.
  • Maintain a good knowledge of and understanding of the organization's mission, vision, and philosophy.
  • Contribute to a healthy work environment by maintaining appropriate boundaries and a professional demeanor.
  • Communicate needs and problems in a timely manner.
  • Uphold standards of conduct, community environment, and health and safety regulations.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
  • Experience in a substance misuse treatment center setting.
  • High School Diploma (two‑year degree or higher preferred).
  • At least two years of experience working over the phone or face‑to‑face with clients in the chemical dependency field.
  • CA‑ADAC or related certification preferred.
  • Excellent computer and telephonic skills;
    Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client focus.

Medical History
