Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate Attorney

A well-established and growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Venice, California. This is an onsite position offering meaningful responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands
• Propound and respond to written discovery; draft meet-and-confer correspondence
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Appear in court for hearings, motions, and case management conferences
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Assist with trial preparation and serve as first or second chair when appropriate
• Conduct legal research and case strategy analysis

Qualifications

• Active and good standing admission to the California State Bar
• 1–7 years of civil litigation experience (At least 1 year of plaintiff personal injury experience preferred)
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases and meet deadlines
• Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
