Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly

We are searching for a Janitor to be part of a small 2-3-person crew in maintaining this beautiful senior citizen apartment building.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in a Janitor role focused on building upkeep. They will have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and restock disposables (e.g., soap)
• Clean mirrors, railings, door handles, elevators, windows, laundry facilities, Etc.
• Maintain outer premises by watering plants, cleaning entrances, etc.
• Report major damages.
• Undertake custodial and janitorial tasks (lifting heavy items, moving chairs, etc.)
• Additional duties as assigned

• Proven experience as custodian, janitor, or in a similar role
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Self-starter with high standards who demonstrates professionalism and can work independently.
• Exceptional customer service and ability to interact with seniors in a positive manner.
• Ability to learn and take direction.
• Valid California driver's license, clean driving record, and insurance required.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Background and credit checks will be performed.
