Role OverviewThe Social Media Manager owns the day-to-day execution and strategic management of social media accounts for consumer brand clients. This role works closely with internal creative, marketing, and paid media teams to deliver organized, on-brand, and performance-driven social content.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple timelines. You are deeply plugged into social culture, comfortable making recommendations, and excited to take ownership of both strategy execution and client communication.
What You’ll Be Responsible For- Own development of social media strategies aligned with client goals and brand positioning
- Plan and manage monthly content calendars across platforms, including Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and others as needed
- Conduct ongoing competitor and trend analysis to inform content and strategic recommendations
- Content & Execution:
Develop thoughtful, on-brand social captions that reflect each client’s voice, tone, and personality - Collaborate with designers, content creators, and social media coordinators to ensure cohesive execution
- Ensure all content is delivered on time, approved efficiently, and published accurately
- Performance & Optimization:
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and video views - Translate performance insights into actionable optimizations for future content and strategy
- Support paid social media planning, execution, and performance analysis as needed
- Help to create presentations and case studies on client work and ongoing social landscape

Experience:
Serve as the day-to-day social media lead for assigned accounts - Lead client meetings, presenting performance insights, learnings, and strategic recommendations
- Maintain clear, proactive communication that builds trust and confidence with clients
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to improve workflows and creative output
- Stay up to date on platform updates, emerging trends, and best practices
- Actively bring new ideas, tools, and insights to the team to help Hart & Highland stay ahead of the curve
- You confidently manage multiple brand accounts with minimal oversight
- Content calendars feel strategic, organized, and proactive—not reactive
- Clients trust you as their primary social media point of contact
- Social performance steadily improves, and insights are reflected in future content
