The RN Back Office Supervisor (Ambulatory Care Patient Supervisor
2) plays a key leadership role at UCLA Health's Santa Monica Internal Medicine Pediatrics & Immediate Care clinic, supporting a highly respected Med Peds model known for outstanding care and service. This position blends handson clinical expertise with operational leadership, partnering closely with physicians and operations leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and high quality care in a fastpaced ambulatory setting.

In this role, you will lead, coach, and mentor clinical staff while shaping workflows that enhance patient access, quality, and experience. The RN Back Office Supervisor oversees staffing, and supports performance and patient safety initiatives. $61.54- $142.77

Qualifications
  • Current California RN License
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or Masters (must be able to provide Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program)
  • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Minimum 3 years of Emergency, Acute Care, Urgent Care, and Pediatric experience
  • Proven knowledge of adult and pediatric patient populations and ambulatory/urgent care workflows
  • Strong clinical skills including medication administration, phlebotomy, IV starts, and acute patient triage
  • Ability to recognize and respond to abnormal clinical findings and laboratory results
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direct patient care and clinical support during emergencies
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced, high volume environment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and staff
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure in challenging or rapidly changing situations
