Description
Supervisor of Nursing Clinical Research (RN) at Providence Saint John's Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, CA. This position will oversee clinical trials at the Cancer Institute and will not directly supervise employees.
You will work 8‑hour day shifts in this full‑time position (no weekends).
Responsibilities- Regularly interact with patients, ensuring their well‑being and addressing any concerns.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects from treatments or medications.
- Clearly communicate the details of the clinical trial to patients, ensuring they understand the process, benefits, and risks.
- Follow the clinical trial protocol strictly to ensure the integrity and validity of the study.
- Collaborate closely with medical doctors to provide the best care and ensure the trial runs smoothly.
- Supervise the trial process, not employees.
- Associate’s Degree – Nursing.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- 2 years of clinical research experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, OR
- 4 years of clinical research experience with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- 2 years of clinical research experience with a Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Pay range: $64.45 – $100.06 per hour (base); additional compensation may be available.
