Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a temporary, full-time RN for Yoh’s client in Santa Monica, CA. This role covers an absence in the Employee Health Department of the medical center. The position starts ASAP and continues until further notice, anticipated at least through August with possible extension.

Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Nurse
• Previous experience in at least one of the following settings:
  Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Corrections, and/or Family Medicine
• Recent clinical experience, tech savvy, and reliable employee

• New hire health screenings
• Collect/update medical records
• Provide health promotion and wellness materials/information
• Post-exposure, communicable disease and blood borne pathogen follow-ups
• Provide medical testing such as EKGs, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
• TB testing
• Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and Respirator Fit Testing (RFT)
• Maintain employee health records for the entire facility
• Answer phones and assist with questions
• Administer vaccinations

• BLS certified from American Heart Association
• Computer savvy (including prior EMR use) required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
• Immunization/titer records for MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, and Hep B series
• TB (PPD) test from within the last 90 days or QuantiFERON-Gold within the last year
• Yearly physical

Estimated Minimum Rate: $48.00 per hour
Estimated Maximum Rate: $53.00 per hour
