Location: Santa Monica, CA, USA (Fully On-Site)
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts including weekends and holidays; 3 shifts per week.
Salary: $65.76 - $97.76 per hour.
Employment type: Indefinite.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional nursing care for 4SW Med Surg/Oncology patients. Guide team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. Assess patient, family, and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education, and promote effective working relationships. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.
Job Qualifications- BSN or MSN,
required - BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association,
required
; ACLS, preferred - 6+ months recent (within 6 months) acute RN experience,
required
;
Oncology and/or Intermediate Care/PCU experience, preferred - Oncology Certified RN or other Professional Nursing Certification, preferred
- Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
- Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
- Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
- Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
