Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Santa Monica, CA | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide nursing care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and triage settings
• Perform Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) and high-risk pregnancy monitoring
• Assist with cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries
• Float to postpartum as needed, including couplet care (maternal and newborn)
• Participate in newborn role during deliveries when applicable

• Active, valid RN license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or NCC EFM certification required
• ACLS and BLS required (AHA certification only)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate

• Experience with postpartum couplet care (maternal and newborn)
• Ability to perform newborn role in the delivery room
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

• Work at a well-established acute care hospital in a desirable beachside location in Southern California
• No on-call requirement — enjoy a predictable schedule with every other weekend commitment
