Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift - 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.
The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit that includes antepartum rooms, labor/high-risk areas, and triage. The RN will be responsible for monitoring fetal heart rates and managing high-risk pregnancies, performing C-sections and vaginal deliveries, and floating to postpartum if needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-risk antepartum, labor delivery, and postpartum couplet care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor fetal heart rates and high-risk pregnancy situations.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections.
- Perform postpartum couplet care as needed.
- Float to postpartum if necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certifications required: AWHONN Advanced, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM (NCC EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN).
- Valid Compact RN license required.
