Reporting to the General Manager, we are looking for an exceptional Cashier who loves to work with people. In addition to general duties, this person will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient service.

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of TARTINE.
• Actively engage with guests and always maintain a floor presence.
• Fill in wherever necessary to get the job done.
• Perform service tasks, such as clearing tables and running food and drinks when necessary.
• Complete tasks as directed including opening and closing task lists.
• Be familiar with computers and POS systems.
• Ensure every Tartine guest feels warm and welcome.
• Ensure the store is in pristine order at all times.
• Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to Tartine quality standards.
• Communicate with back‑of‑house management effectively to ensure ticket times are appropriate for the pace of service and to maintain a positive synergy between front and back teams.

• Have at least 1 year in the service industry.
• Always look for ways to improve.
• Be able to develop positive working relationships with all staff.
• Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and staff.
• Adapt and succeed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Have an eye for detail and the ability to multitask.
• Be able to understand and use restaurant apps and technology.
