The Key Holder plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting daily store operations. This position is responsible for driving sales, maintaining visual standards, assisting with merchandising, and supporting opening and closing procedures. The ideal candidate is customer focused, organized, and confident leading the sales floor.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support daily store operations
  • Drive sales, maintain visual standards, assist with merchandising, and support opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and well organized
  • Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and provide constructive feedback
  • Respond to feedback and follow management direction
  • Identify and report issues or concerns promptly
  • Maintain a professional phone presence when calling clients
  • Participate in store and management meetings
  • Complete assigned training lessons and quizzes
  • Respond promptly to management emails while on shift
  • Understand the surrounding retail landscape and competition
  • Prioritize workload to maximize efficiency while protecting the customer experience
  • Uphold Clare V. policies, procedures, and values
  • Contribute to a healthy, respectful, and collaborative work environment
Qualifications / Skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of retail experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Strong eye for fashion and visual presentation
  • Proven ability to use selling techniques to achieve sales and repeat business
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
  • Ability to open and close the store independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel to other stores within the region as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and walking for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and kneeling
  • Climbing ladders or step stools to access merchandise and displays
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 40lbs. including overhead lifting
  • Repetitive use of hands and arms for handling products, operating POS systems, and visual merchandising
