Overview
We’re hiring! Malbon is looking for an Inventory Control Manager to join our team. This role will report into our Director, Operations and will be responsible for driving operational excellence ensuring inventory accuracy and visibility across our global omni-channel network—including eCommerce (Shopify Ecom/ Retail stores), Wholesale (domestic and international), Dropship, and all virtual warehouses in our ERP (Net Suite).
LocationLocation: Malbon HQ is based in Santa Monica, CA. We are currently operating from a hybrid work schedule of 3 days a week in-office.
What You ll Do- Own end-to-end inventory accuracy across all channels and systems (Net Suite, Shopify, 3PL WMS, and other OMS systems), maintaining >99% SKU-level accuracy
- Lead cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories; investigate variances and drive root-cause resolution
- Oversee inbound receipts, returns (RMAs), and inventory transfers, ensuring timely reconciliation and accurate system updates
- Partner with Finance to support month-end close, inventory valuation, and COGS reporting
- Improve inventory processes, ERP/WMS integrations, and SOPs to drive efficiency and consistency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Production, Merchandising, Marketing Ops, and Operations to support inventory availability and launches
- Deliver regular inventory reporting and insights, including aging, excess stock, shrink, and key accuracy KPIs
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain operations, preferably within apparel, footwear, or lifestyle brands
- Strong proficiency with Net Suite, Shopify, NuORDER and WMS platforms (Deposco)
- Advanced Excel and retail math knowledge
- Deep understanding of omni-channel retail operations and seasonal product flows
- High attention to detail, proactive problem solving, and analytical mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across departments
- Golf enthusiasm or familiarity with the Malbon brand culture is a plus!

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 a year
This is a full-time position with an expected salary range of $100K - $110K
. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications.
