Part to full time sales position with a high compensation structure with some flexible remote hours (optional).

Tiato is a dynamic gourmet fast-casual restaurant and event venue in Santa Monica, known for innovative Californian-Asian cuisine and beautifully executed private events. From corporate luncheons and brand activations to elegant weddings and social celebrations, Tiato delivers bold flavors and memorable experiences in a stylish setting.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Event Sales Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong sales instincts, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for creating exceptional events. You will be responsible for driving private event sales from initial inquiry through contract execution, working closely with the events operations team to bring each client’s vision to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the initial primary point of contact for all private event inquiries
  • Proactively generate new event leads through outreach, networking, and follow-ups, making corporate calls, and doing grassroots and guerilla marketing.
  • Convert inquiries into booked events
  • Conduct site tours and client meetings, presenting Tiato’s offerings with confidence and creativity
  • Customize and build proposals, menus, and event packages based on client needs and budgets
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event details to successfully close sales
  • Coordinate closely with the owner, culinary and event managers to ensure smooth handoff after booking
  • Attend office hours as needed to manage paperwork, contracts, and client follow-ups
Requirements
  • Proven experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or a similar role
  • Excellent Sales abilities—communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and a passion for hospitality and guest experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Tripleseat, Toast, Canva, etc.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for site tours and client meetings
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and sales driven mindset
