HF Assistant / Reserach Assistant

Skills/qualities:

• Minimal:
  1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Psychology
  2. Proficient in data entry tools like Excel
  3. Passion for interacting with users
  4. Willing to learn new instruments to collect human data
• Good-to-have:
  1. Basic knowledge in user research
  2. Basic statistical knowledge and data analysis skills
  3. Basic knowledge in Google Suite and 3D CAD software

Job responsibilities (prior experience related to items below preferred but not required):

• Participants scheduling (e.g. set up time with participants; backfill rescheduled participants) and intaking (e.g. greeting, manage NDA/Informed consent)
• Using surveys to collect basic information (demographics, behavioral)
• Measure anthropometric dimensions (e.g. head breadth, IPD) using instruments and record data
• Operate 3D scanner to capture 3D geometry of participants
• Run user studies
