As a Security Officer Full Time Area Patrol in Santa Monica, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. You will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work closely with your team, and lead with integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas to help support authorized entry, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with daily property operations by answering questions, providing directions, and reporting issues that could affect tenants, guests, and/or the location.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
