AI Engineer Intern

Job Description

The position is an AI engineer language intern focused on natural language processing (NLP) and language model development for Ole Ole’s football fan engagement platform.

• Assist in NLP research and development projects
• Collaborate with the AI engineering team to build and improve language models
• Annotate and curate data for training and evaluation
• Conduct experiments and analysis to enhance AI model performance
• Learn and apply machine learning techniques and NLP algorithms
• Support the team in solving language‑related challenges and tasks
• Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and NLP

Required skills and experience:

• Strong background in NLP, machine learning, and programming (Python, Tensor Flow/PyTorch)
• Experience with data annotation, model training pipelines, and evaluation metrics
• Knowledge of multilingual translation and real‑time language processing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast‑moving engineering team
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

• Creative problem solver who can propose and support new ideas to grow a global fan platform
• Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and early‑stage company challenges
• Proactive, independent, and eager to deliver high‑quality results

• Compensation:
  Monthly salary based on experience and contributions to user growth

Location:

Santa Monica, CA (potentially relocating to Malibu).
