Overview

Amazon Softlines Private Brands seeks an apparel pattern and fit expert to deliver best‑in‑class fit and quality across its direct development products. The Global Fit team focuses on creating accurate fit across global markets, including fit engineering, block maintenance, vendor fit training and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clear specifications on Tech Packs to include fit, construction and quality, while keeping target prices in mind.
  • Lead fit sessions to ensure fit, sizing, construction and quality consistency meets standards.
  • Create block patterns and grading guidance across product lines and departments.
  • Develop or update Technical Literature and SOPs as required.
  • Leverage technical knowledge to conduct wearer testing throughout development and post‑production.
  • Evaluate garments to ensure compliance with specs, construction, quality and fit intent versus agreed standards.
  • Track and manage workflow and workload.
  • Travel to factories and collaborate with technical teams to accelerate fit approval timelines and achieve right‑first‑time development.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and deep‑dive on customer data for strategy and defect escalations.
  • Lead technical conversations with vendors, including quality and fit issue escalations.
  • Read, evaluate, and manipulate data‑led fit reporting.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive continuous improvements.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements.
  • Experience in stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
