Product Engineer

• Take designs from the design team, ship them with production quality, and work with the PM to meet the scope timeline.
• Handle edge cases without blocking, making defensible calls for empty, error, loading, and unusual data states and documenting those decisions.
• Use AI as a force multiplier—leveraging tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, MCP and in‑house agents—to accelerate frontend development from 90days to about a week.
• Build AI features inside the product, including lab‑interpretation drafts, patient‑facing explainers, intake summarization and internal automation.
• Contribute to product vision, give constructive feedback on designs or architectural decisions, and suggest high‑value, low‑cost alternatives.
• Maintain premium, trustworthy patient‑facing surfaces and fast, reliable internal tools; pay special attention to loading, empty, and error states.
• Take HIPAA seriously, keeping audit trails, role‑based access, secure data flow and careful error handling in mind while remaining agile.

• Experienced frontend engineer with a strong design sense, not just a ticket‑based worker.
• Fluent in Type Script, React, Next.js, and Tailwind.
• Comfortable with authentication, API integration and deployment workflows.
• Able to read Figma files to precision and finish design‑driven work when instructions are incomplete.
• Built production‑ready AI agents or integrated AI features; achieve 5–10× throughput compared to a year ago.
• Strong individual contributor who collaborates effectively with PMs and the team.
• Can showcase real, public work—preferably in healthcare or high‑trust DTC contexts—with measurable impact.
• Experience writing copy for UI micro‑elements, adjusting labels, empty and error states to align with brand voice.
• Careful, rigorous approach to longevity science and health‑related data.

• People who freeze when a design has gaps.

• Anyone whose best work lives inside a Linear board or who needs the spec to be airtight before starting.
• Engineers with only theoretical, agency‑side, or unverifiable experience.

• Equity commensurate with scope.
• Collaboration with a CTO, PM, design and clinical team that respects craft and gives room to run.
