This role is critical in providing essential bookkeeping and advisory services, particularly for boutique and family-run wineries, ensuring the highest level of service and oversight for clients.

• Mission:
  Perform bookkeeping services for a variety of individual and business clients, with a focus on specialized accounting for the wine industry.
• Tech Stack:
  Quick Books, Sage, CFS

• Bookkeeping:
  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping for diverse clients.
• Payroll Management:
  Process client payroll, including all related W2, 1099, and quarterly/annual tax returns.
• General Accounting:
  Enter transactions and reconcile general ledger, credit card, and cash accounts.
• Accounts Payable:
  Verify, complete, and reconcile client invoices, ensuring proper account allocation.
• Sales Tax:
  Prepare and file sales tax returns for business clients.

• Background:
  Professional bookkeeping or accounting.
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience;
  Multi-State Payroll experience.
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books, Sage, CFS) and ability to quickly learn new systems;
  Excellent communication, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills;
  Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving, and ability to self-manage projects.
