- Create purchase order to order general supplies, raw material or any product that is needed
- Confirm pricing and delivery dates of created purchase orders
- Monitor and aggressively negotiate best market pricing for assigned commodities.
- Analyze and implement process improvements to drive down supply chain costs, including logistics.
- Finalize daily sales order transactions
- Support Engineering team with initial RFQ information on resin and/or component pricing and purchases.
- Setup and monitor item descriptions and standard cost in IQMS.
- Production Planning
- Utilize IQMS to level load the production schedule for production.
- Report/communicate production inefficiencies that may jeopardize on time deliveries.
- Work with shipping to coordinate shipping needs; work with receiving to ensure that inventoried item deliveries satisfy the purchase order
- Perform capacity analysis of resources including equipment and labor.
- Proactively analyze/monitor all required inventory items (raw, components, corrugation, etc.) to ensure production needs are met to satisfy due dates and OTD.
- Inventory management and accuracy using FIFO, and A, B, C classification.
- Define minimum and maximum inventory levels, and MOQ, based on open orders, forecast and lead time from vendors.
- Oversee the initial setup of BOM’s.

- 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with direct responsibility for supply chain processes, procurement or inventory/non-inventory items.
- Professional and respectful team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, peers, outside customers and vendors
- Skill of versatility; adapting to the different situations when dealing with customers or vendors
- Must be proficient with a computer and Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced level)
- ERP expert: IQMS, SAP or Oracle
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions and purchase orders
- Self-motivated to complete several diverse tasks with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
- Capable of assessing situations and make necessary decisions to achieve company goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Limited physical effort, able to carry at least 25lbs
- Duties are primarily performed seated. Must be able to sit and type for long periods; bending, reaching, pushing, pulling related to general administrative duties and use of office equipment.
