Position:
Project Manager
Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Requires a strong background in managing DSA and K12 projects.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate construction workers and subcontractors.
- Review and analyze project specifications for cost‑effective solutions and risk identification.
- Manage project budgets, including procurement of materials and services.
- Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques.
- Prepare detailed internal and external project status reports.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists to develop comprehensive project strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe site.
- Resolve problems that arise during construction.
- Conduct post‑project evaluations for future improvements.
- Preferable, but not required, bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, focusing on DSA and K12 projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, capable of leading teams and managing subcontractors.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.
- Proficient in project management software and standard office software (MS Office suite).
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- In‑depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
- Familiarity with construction/project management software.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of safety and building codes and regulatory requirements.
