OR Tech​/Surgical Tech

Duties

• Provide surgical assistance and support in a variety of procedures across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, and Trauma.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of surgical equipment and instrumentation.
• Participate in on‑call and weekend coverage as required by the unit's needs.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to safety protocols, including radiation and laser safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Proficiency in Cardiovascular and Vascular procedures such as Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, and Carotid Endarterectomy.
• Experience in ENT, Gynecology, Neuro Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, and Thoracic procedures.
• Familiarity with robotic surgery systems, particularly the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
• Competence in emergency management and airway management.
• Preferred skills in Endoscopic and Laparoscopic assisted procedures across various specialties.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, with a preference for candidates possessing 5 years of experience.
• Experience in a Trauma Level I environment is essential.
• Community hospital experience is preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
• Certifications in BLS are required, with CST and NBSTSA certifications preferred.
