Requirements / QualificationsRequired:
-Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to a High School diploma. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of students.
-Correct English usage, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic.
-General classroom procedures and equipment.
-Must pass Paraprofessional exam before employment offer. If you have 48 college credit units or more, you are exempt from taking the Paraprofessional exam. Attach college transcripts to application. Post offer, pre-employment physical exam required. (POPP Physical) Desirable:
Interest in working with students with special education students with mild to moderate needs in small groups and in a classroom. Collaboration with the classroom teacher(s) and education specialist to support students' academic needs. Experience collecting behavioral or academic data. Ability to implement accommodations and modifications outlined in IEP Work Week:
Monday - Friday 8 am - 2:30 pm
