Job Title
Provide required 1:1 medical support and safety supervision for a preschool student during bus transportation to/from SCOE placement.
Requirements / QualificationsAny combination of training and experience provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform the job. Work experience may be substituted at management's discretion and other recognized job-related training may be accepted.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, and graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
Experience:
One (1) year working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a clinic, medical, or student health facility. Valid California State license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (L.V.N.) Valid Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate 2 Letters of Recommendation required. 48+ College Credits or Paraprofessional Certificate Desirable:
Experience working with individuals with physical or health related needs. Knowledge of health care practices and procedures related to physically handicapped individuals (specifically seizure care plan, shunt care plan, suctioning orders, monitor/manage 99% continuous oxygen portable O2 concentrator)
Education Requirements:
Valid California State license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (L.V.N.) Valid Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
* Two years of college (48) units, or
* A.A. degree (or higher), or
