What youll bring:
- Valid California CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education
- Previous experience supporting elementary students with behavioral challenges
- Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and administrators
- Adaptability, patience, and excellent communication skills
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to each students IEP goals
- Track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
- Employ a variety of proactive strategies and interventions to address behavioral needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Engage in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with all district and legal requirements
