Overview
Keysight Technologies, the world's premier measurement company, is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineering Technician to work at the High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC) in Santa Rosa, California. The role focuses on lithography and related semiconductor processes, supporting the development of advanced compound semiconductor devices.
Responsibilities- Assist engineers in reviewing and troubleshooting stuck lots and communicating lot status and issues.
- Oversee litho work selection and facilitate movement of lots with issues or abnormal delays.
- Lead recipe setup for lithography systems and related metrology tools.
- Qualify new batches of photoresist.
- Adjust process and equipment parameters in response to lithography weekly tests.
- Perform data entry, data analysis, and basic statistical process control (SPC) tasks.
- Assist with processing test wafers and process development activities.
- Perform visual inspection on IC wafers, record observations and provide detailed feedback to engineers.
- Assist with training on litho and related metrology equipment.
- Minimum 6+ years of Engineering Technician experience in lithography, metrology, and related semiconductor processes.
- Minimum high school graduate with applicable semiconductor industry experience, strong aptitude in science and math; AAS or B.S. degree preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with advanced semiconductor device fabrication is required.
- Specific skills in III‑V semiconductor processing preferred.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE) is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, and communication skills for successful inter‑ and intra‑group interactions.
- Willingness and initiative to learn and acquire new skills.
- Available to work a combination of weekend and/or swing shift for coverage. Schedule has flexibility for the right candidate.
- Candidates must be local to Santa Rosa, CA or willing to relocate.
The role will be based at our HQ in Santa Rosa, CA.

CompensationSanta Rosa, CA Salary Range:
Minimum $60,140 – Maximum $120,230. Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range listed above.
